A Donor Group Created in Dorothy Brooke’s Legacy
In 1934 Dorothy Brooke began a journey that proved one woman can make a difference. Her compassion for working horses was so immense it led to the founding of what has become the world’s largest international animal welfare charity. To honor her memory, The Dots were created.
The Dots are a network of dedicated women continuing the legacy of Dorothy Brooke’s compassion for working equines.
The group is a natural fit for Brooke USA, as many of the people who benefit in communities around the world are women who rely on their working equines to help provide for their families.
The Dots members each contribute $1,000 annually to Brooke USA, to fund equine welfare programs across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and North and Central America.
Yearly membership in The Dots includes an annual silver charm to commemorate membership, invitations to events featuring guest speakers from Brooke USA, a welcome gift of an equestrian-themed book, and the chance to network with like-minded women.
